We lived within walking/biking/scooting distance of the cemetary in Keene, which was a major hotspot for various means of personal mobility there. Took a while to get past the weirdness of it, particularly on the days when we had to announce, "Oh, sorry, kiddo, we can't bike there today... there's a funeral happening."

And just a few hundred yards farther was the ice cream place. Nothing better than a cemetary and calories on a summer's day.

IS THAT EVERGREEN CEMETERY IN PORTLAND, ME???
I used to go there all the time!! It's awesome!!! *sniff*

Daisy

We ride bikes and walk in our neighborhood cemetery, too. The caretakers and managers encourage people to do so. It's beautiful and peaceful.

Amy

No, sorry. It's a cemetery in southern NH. I'm not even sure of the name of it. But, yes, it sure is beautiful there. :)

Kim/hormone-colored days

We live near a cemetery and when my son was three he'd sing made-up songs about how fun it was to play there. I'm glad it's not just us!
